[Koha] problem with bulk imported data

Not sure if your problem is the same, but we had a  similar problem with
the 942 $c and a bulk import. The trouble boiled down to this field being
controlled by
 Home › Administration › Item types administration.  You have to be sure
the imported 942 $c matches the code in the left hand column exactly.  We
had "Books" in that field. But what it wanted to see was "BK".
