[Koha] A question for users of Koha, about searching

I'm using the "advanced search form" only for search by collection not for "item type". We group the informaction resources by collection like:

Colección regional (History of Baja related books)
Colección UIA-ITESO (Books published by the members of Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico)
etc., etc.
