[Koha] Split call numbers on labels?

I'll try to remember to check what our spine labels look like on
Monday as we use very granular Dewey numbers which end up lengthy at
times.

However, call number splitting is a never ending story, given the
apparently endless number of ways to split a call number. So, we have
a standing bug for this sort of thing. Please feel free to add a

Be sure to include an example of the call number as well as the exact
results you would expect once the call number is split.

While it may not be possible to accommodate every requested method
with the current system, we'll certainly try.

What really needs to happen is some sort of plug-in or syspref driven
splitting system to allow "custom" splits to be made in addition to
the "standard" splits.
