Running the zebraqueue-daemon is an poorly documented no-no. See
http://koha-community.org/documentation/faq/searching/#18

I would suggest:

1. Making sure the zebraqueue daemon is *not* running; then try
starting the zebra daemon.
2. Verify paths in koha-zebra-ctl.sh
