this sounds WAY too much like a question i am facing right now

we are adding books to the library, and have got past the books that
have MARC records already available.

which means that we are starting to write our own records (help!!)

the problem is we can't write an author name into it (100a)

i am trying to figure it out, but i am right now without a clue.

can someone
a. talk me through it
b. send me a link that will talk me through it

thank you all

Suchetha
