[Koha] Transfering data from Koha 2.2.9 to Koha 3.00.00

After some playing with databases I have Koha 3 up and running. Hurray! And thanks to Owen Leonard and Mason James!

It all sems to work fine, entered some patrons and books manually to test, even the z39.50 search works wonderful.

However, i would have liked the next step to be easier, I get error upon error trying to import any data from Koha 2.2.9. Having started at I think Koha 2.2.7, all updates were rather seamless. Apparently it is not as straightforward with a new release... Is there any place with examples on how to get data from a previous version into Koha 3? I did a few searches, but most of them, if not all, seem to be concerned mainly with the installation of Koha 3. At the moment I cannot even get the patrons loaded from a CSV file, never mind the biblios, and even if we are a small library 6000 items and 800 patrons is a bit too much to do by hand...
