[Koha] books displaying as audio items [Scanned]

Hi,

Thanks for your replies. I've finally had a chance to try these
solutions (well, I'm not really sure how to do it using SQL) but still
all items are displaying as audio. Even the ones I've added using the
framework for books, booklets and workbooks, rather than default
framework. Also, changing the item type once added doesn't correct
this. Is there another default setting that could be causing it?

Thanks,
Kate

I think the default item type is set to Audio Cassettes/CD (SR) because it is the first itemtype in the list. One thing you can do is change the desciption of the itemtype though Koha's System Preferences (as mentioned below), though the actual code would still remain SR instead of BK and might impact upon your searches. Alternatively, you could change item types in bulk using some command-line SQL commands (which is what I ended up doing).
