[Koha] install problem: MARC::File::XML

Hello.  I am trying to install version 2.2.9 on Fedora Core 5 with Perl
5.8.8.  The installer tells me that I am missing the MARC::File::XML module
but when I try to install that module I get the message:

 

MARC::File::XML is up to date.

 

Does anyone have an idea why the installer is not seeing the module?
