[Koha] Issuing books

[Noel Goodman]

I issued a book to a member. Did a member search from the intranet page for that member and don't see the book issued to that member.  
I know the book has been issued because it shows up in the database issues table.
Why is it not appearing after I pull up member search or check issues in circulation?
Is there an alternate method of viewing who are holding issued book?
