[Koha] z3950 multiple searches

  I am reference librarian with only user-end computer skills trying to use
a koha system which has been set up by a non-librarian computer-specialist,
both of us volunteering for our children's school. 
  I would like to be able to search about 1,000 isbn numbers, upload their
marc records, and then take all summer to reconcile each record with the
book in front of me (adding item type info and individual barcodes). 
  But all I can figure out how to do is search one isbn at a time in koha
(add new biblio). 
  Please tell me there is a way to scan several isbn's at once and have my
computer go and find all the marc records and give them to me in a batch!
(and how to do it, of course!)
