[Kete] kete 1.2 cannot add item in

Good catch Andy.  Yes, the Pretty Site Name is what can contain spaces, e.g. "Barnodos Kete".  The Site Name (as is indicated in the information under the field) is the full domain name without the protocol at the beginning, e.g. "kete.barnados.co.nz".

You'll definitely want to change this and rebuild as Andy says.
