We are testing Koha v. 3.01.00.145 before going live, when someone pointed out to me that search results are oddly sorted at best.  In the searching sys preferences, the database is set to search by relevance (A-Z) in both the OPAC and staff interface.  We are using Zebra and it is set to search by relevance.

Hi Amy I think I might know why it is doing this, is your opac public? Can I use it to do a quick test? If it works I have a patch that should fix the relevance ranking for you. Basically it isnt actually applying the ranking at the moment, at least thats how my test system is behaving. Chris
