Dear Friend, According to the manual, we have to close the basket after placing the order. If so, 1. Is it possible to cancel one order in acquisition module after closing the basket. 2.Is it possible to modify a closed basket, to change its price etc. -- Vimal Kumar V. Asst. You used to be able to make edits by reopening a basket - but as I look at the new system, I don't see that option anymore - does anyone else? Nicole On Thu, Jul 8, 2010 at 7:19 AM, Vimal Kumar <vimal0212@gmail.com> wrote:

I've an open customer Problem Report about this, so I don't think it's there any more, but it's awaiting investigation. I'm sure I've fixed this before, but I guess the patch wasn't merged for some reason. If you open or find it as a bug on http://bugs.koha-community.org before I do, please let me know. We avoid closing the baskets because you can't make any changes once it's closed. We like to go into the note field and make status updates (along the lines of "vendor says backordered as of 7/8, still searching"). I was told it was very unusual to have a workflow of keeping the baskets open, but it doesn't cause any problems for us. Greetings, we close baskets but only after everything ordered for the purchase order (we create one basket for each purchase order) is received and invoiced. We do this so that we can modify an order if an title is unavailable or cancelled, or if there were errors not immediately discovered. We started closing baskets to remove them for the vendor screens, leaving the baskets that had titles still outstanding.
