Can someone check my understanding of MaxFine? If it's set to $10, and fine increments are .20, and the last total was $9.80, does the MaxFine kick in with the next .20 increment (total $10), or the first one AFTER the $10 threshhold (total $10.20)? Well, that would explain why it’s not working. So there is no way to limit the amount of fines accrued for one patron? I've just been talking to Joe on the IRC -- the syspref is named MaxFine, but the CalcFine function in C4/Overdues.pm uses a different case: $amount = C4::Context->preference('maxFine') if(C4::Context->preference('maxFine') && ( $amount > C4::Context->preference('maxFine'))); I've changed that to MaxFine and will see if that makes a difference.
