Dear Friends, Anybody have tried data migration from SOUL software ( www.inflibnet.ac.in/soul/) to Koha? I exported the data as MARC from SOUL, but it does not open and edit using MarcEdit software. I request to share your experience in SOUL to KOHA migration. Regards, -- Vimal Kumar V. If MARCedit really can't open it, it's most likely SOUL's fault, or PEBCAC. Are you sure you understand exactly what "flavour" of MARC SOUL is exporting? MARCedit will also convert from text CSV/Excel to MARC if you can get the SOUL data out that way.

SOUL support MARC-21.
I think its software problem.
Yes, claiming to "support" something isn't the same as actually complying fully with the standard. I'd recommend going this route if you're sure you're using MARCedit properly.
