All, Yes, ByWater has received some funding to make Hourly Loans happen, and we're working with Catalyst to get it done. The goal is to get it working as soon as possible, but as stated, it's a big development, and will require lots of testing and integration. All the work will be made available to the entire community, and every effort shall be made to make sure it's of high enough quality and completeness to be integrated back into Koha (I cannot promise it's integration by any specific date as I'm not the Release Manager and the current release is time-based not feature based; I can only promise my efforts towards quality assurance). Margo and Owen,
Yes, ByWater is working on hourly loans (I think with Catalyst - but I might be mixing up developments), but for most that is not enough for course reserves, so that's why I said what I said :)
As for date, that's Ian's arena so he'll have to say where the development is.

Development by ByWater. The hourly loan portion, at least (which, selfishly, is the only part of reserves I'm really wanting right now).
Well if ByWater says they're working on it then we know we'll get it when it's done.
They talk the talk *and* walk the walk :)
