Re: [Koha] KOHA utf-8 and LOC marc-8 !!!
Can you give me more detail about it. My system admin installed Koha, Mysql, etc. with UTF-8 encoding. My problem is when I perform a search and retrieve/import records from LOC and others that use MARC-8 encoding.
This may help: http://sites.google.com/a/liblime.com/koha-manual/Home/Table-of-Contents/adm... Make sure that you set the syntax right when setting up the z39.50 server. --- Nicole C. I have the same problem, if you have found a solution can you send to the list your LOC configuration ? Thanks for all. Zeno Tajoli CILEA - Segrate (MI) tajoliAT_SPAM_no_prendiATcilea.it (Indirizzo mascherato anti-spam; sostituisci quanto tra AT con @)

As Henri and Nichol have mentioned, set the LOC z3950 server syntax to MARC8 and records will be converted to UTF8 automatically. Regards, Chris
