problems installing zh-Hans-TW translations
Hi I'm trying to install the zh-Hans-TW translations following instructions on the Koha wiki website. I've downloaded the latest translations for Koha 3.6 and put it in misc/translator/po perl translate install zh-Hans-TW But I keep getting an error tmpl_process3.pl: Warning: overduerules.tt: <a1> Anchor 1 not found.... Can't call method "string" on an undefined value at TmplTokenizer.pm line 446 And further in the beginning, I'm getting a tmpl_process3.pl: Warning: Inconsistent %s count I'm installing this on Centos 6.2 with a starting locale of en_US.utf8 Any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks! nancy

Those all sounds like there are errors in the .po file (this can happen when people make mistakes translating). If you have poedit, if you open the file in that, it should tell you what the errors are and you can correct them and try rerunning the translate script. Hope this helps Chris
thanks!

Hi I'm not too familiar with translating (but I will look it up if I need to). It seems to be all okay. For example, one offending error is: "Adjust for %s %s" The Chinese translation is "%2$s %1$s xxxx" where xxx is chinese. For some reason koha tmpl_process3.pl thinks that the number of %s is wrong. I don't know the syntax but it seems like it is referencing two strings as it should. I'm wondering if it's a problem w/ my OS setup since I'm using en_US.... nancy On 1/11/12 11:07 PM, Chris Cormack wrote:

But why? I looked up translating after I sent the email and a wordpress translating doc says that you use the %1$s %2$s as argument swapping. Because in this instance they're translating the second %s and putting that as the first %s. Grepp'ing %1$s in all the .po files show that other Koha .po files use the type of strings..... nancy On 1/12/12 12:01 AM, Chris Cormack wrote:
