Fast cataloguing
Hi all I have superlibrarian permissions, but don't seem to get the option to add a book through fast cataloguing. If I try to issue an item that is not in the catalogue, I get a message saying the barcode is not recognised, but no option to fast add. I have also looked in Circulations, and can't find a link there either. Am I looking in the wrong places, or is there something I need to do first to enable fast cataloguing? Thanks for your help. Besides a check on user privileges, Koha also checks to see if a bibliographic framework exists for fast cataloging. This framework must have the code "FA." Does a Fast Cataloging framework exist in Administration -> MARC bibliographic framework? Hi Owen. Koha version is 3.22.05.000. There is currently no Fast Cataloging framework under MARC bibliographic framework. Is this something I need to create? Thanks for your help. Deb
Hi Deb, you need a framework with the framework code "FA". As it's listed as optional during installation it might not have been installed in your installation.
