Does anyone out there have any experience completing a fiscal roll over in Koha? I'm referring to rolling or moving vendors, funds and orders from the previous fiscal year, to a new fiscal year. I don't see any information out there about this, especially regarding rolling encumbrances and orders not yet received, intact. If this is not possible, how do library systems in Koha segue into a new fiscal year? We are currently using Koha 3.6. Thanks in advance..... Maureen McElroy Manager Technical Services Dept. There is no formal rollover as such in Koha. The way forward is to create your new budgets and funds and then make the old ones inactive. Any orders which you want to come out of the new funds (rooled over) need to be edited to update the fund code in the orderline. The money will then be encumbered against the new funds rather than the old. Hopefully you won't have too many! Thanks Jonatahn On 07/05/2012 23:47, McElroy, Maureen wrote:

One thing to note, it's not the perfect solution, but in 3.8 there is an option to duplicate a budget. So you can copy your budgets from one year to another and then make changes to the ones you need to edit. It saves you some data entry, but is not a "roll over" function. Nicole C.
