Koha 2.2.9 is very old, and the Windows version is not supported by anyone I know of. Work has been done to get Koha 3.x working on Windows but it's not ready yet. You might try the LiveCD instead: http://mizstik.com/projects/koha-livecd/ -- Owen -- Web Developer Athens County Public Libraries http://www.myacpl.org
Thanks Owen. I was able to open the file eventually. The file was downloaded as Koha2.2.9-w32-R1[1] The .Exe extension was replaced by [1] hence the file could not be opened since windows could not determine the file type. So, renamed the file to Koha2.2.9-w32-R1.Exe and that did the magic. I have since installed Koha. Many thanks for your prompt response. Are you using Koha 2.2.9 for Windows? That version is very old and unsupported. The current version of Koha is 3.2.3 and can be downloaded here: http://koha-community.org/download-koha/ -- Owen -- Web Developer Athens County Public Libraries http://www.myacpl.org

Probably from the first Google hit for "Koha on Windows," a site which hasn't been updated since February 23, 2008. -- Owen -- Web Developer Athens County Public Libraries http://www.myacpl.org
