I tested current master (3.11.00.202) with an author name containing Chinese character. It displays fine in the facets column (Refine your search) at the left in opac as well as in staff. Could anyone know why in the "Refine your search" column area of OPAC can not show non-latin characters ? But in the other area of the OPAC can show non-latin characters. Anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks a lot.

Hi , The first problem is about the links and was solved in this bug : http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=10176 2nd one about displaying Arabic words in the Refine your search area you can increase the value of the syspref : FacetLabelTruncationLength to 50 .. About the first problem to apply this in your local system just add use utf8; to the /C4/Search.pm and that's it . Best Regards . Another thing, some Arabic text is split and doesn't correctly show; though I read that Koha supports Arabic characters.
