Hi general Koha list, hi Brendan: Henri-Damien suggested asking you about the Koha preconference. Currently this preconference has been canceled since no one took responsibility for it. I'm contacting you since I feel bad that it's been taken off the list for lack of knowledge... Someone (I'm not personally sure who) added the suggestion of a Koha preconference to the 2010 Preconference Proposal list: http://wiki.code4lib.org/index.php/2010_Preconference_Proposals If someone in the Koha community would like it to happen, please let Code4Lib Con know ASAP. Otherwise, no worries, there could be a breakout session or something informal at the conference. -Jodi
Jodi, That was me. I thought it would be a good idea to propose it and see if anyone was interested, but I didn't get much response, and didn't want to hold it by myself (while I'm sure I could ramble to a room for half a day, I'm not sure anyone would get much out of it!). If anyone in the community would like to see this revived, I'd be all for it. Thanks Ian and Brendan! If you decide it's a go ahead, we'll put it on the schedule [1] and in registration, either as an afternoon or full-day event, whichever you prefer. :) -Jodi [1] http://code4lib.org/conference/2010/schedule On Fri, Dec 11, 2009 at 7:23 PM, Brendan Gallagher < info@bywatersolutions.com> wrote:
