Holds wrapper is a sheet of paper that is generated in the ILS, printed as a hold and wrapped around the book/dvd/audio book or?. It has limited information for privacy but enough that the patron knows the item is one that they placed on hold. When the patron checks out - they take the item to the check out station and are good to go - if they accidentally pulled the wrong item, they are not allowed to continue with the checkout process but must contact a staff member for help. With holds wrappers, library staff can shelve library holds in a location on the library floor for patrons to self serve - eliminating the need for: Patron: "Hello, I am here to pick up my hold" Staff: "Do you have a library card?" Holds wraps are just a way for patrons to help themselves with simple tasks. Hello Ma'am/Sir,
Can I add Gate Register feature (entry and exit for the daily library visitor) with RFID card in Koha platform?.
Basically, I am trying to add a feature in which it will hold data (name, date and time) of daily library visitors. Entry and exit will be recorded using RFID card. Is there any built-in feature for RFID card based entry/exit log? Purpose of this is to do away with manual entry and exit while visiting the library.
Therefore, I would be very grateful if you could let me know about the feasibility and approach if I am allowed to edit or modify the koha platform in such a manner.
Looking forward to your quick response.
Thanking you.
Yours faithfully,

Hi Teresa, Koha will print a hold slip when an item is checked in that can fill a hold. The slip and its contents can be customized by library using HTML and CSS. So I think the answer is yes :) Hope that helps, Katrin On 10.07.2018 02:16, Teresa Lucas wrote:
