Koha 3.8 on Debian Squeeze- can't log in to web installer
Hi all, I have a strange issue that hopefully you can help with. I am testing out Koha on a virtual machine. I am running Debian 6.0.5 64bit and have been following the guide as per here: http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Koha_3.8_on_Debian_Squeeze Everything works smoothly, up until it is time to log in to the web installer. As per the instructions on the web page, I enter the username and password exactly as it appears in the koha-conf.xml file. The screen flashes briefly and then reloads the web installer log in page- no error is displayed. I have been looking in the relevant logs on the koha server, but I can't see anything obvious there. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. -- View this message in context: http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/Koha-3-8-on-Debian-Squeeze-can-t-log-in-to... Okay, on further testing it seems that something doesn't work if you let the koha-create command auto generate username/password. I went back and manually specified the username and password to be use in the koha instance in a /etc/koha/passwd file (as described in the wiki article) and I could then log in to the web installer using those credentials without issue. Hope that helps someone -- View this message in context: http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/Koha-3-8-on-Debian-Squeeze-can-t-log-in-to... Sent from the Koha-general mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
