why doesn't Reply All go back to list?
Hi All, I keep accidentally not replying back to the list for things that might be useful to more people than the sending. But my mail client doesn't seem to be picking the Koha List even when I choose Reply-All. Is there something in the list configuration that could be tweaked so that Reply All always goes back to the list? I'm using Gmail. Same from thunderbird (3.1.8) : reply / reply to list / reply to all, all work fine -- Paul POULAIN http://www.biblibre.com Expert en Logiciels Libres pour l'info-doc Tel : (33) 4 91 81 35 08
In Mail.app on Mac OS X it works. The Koha list is in Cc:, while the author is in To:. Stefano On Mar 25, 2011, at 09:23 , Paul Poulain wrote:

Hi All, Thanks for the feedback. It was me. The Koha List was BCC'd and my email client ignored that (which is exactly what it should do) when I chose reply-all. I promise to pause next time before I hit send..... ;) Lori On Fri, Mar 25, 2011 at 3:47 AM, Stefano Bargioni <bargioni@pusc.it> wrote:

Unless something has changed since I was last told, Gmail does not support mailing list standards (RFC-2369 RFC-2919). A list of some clients that do is at http://mjr.towers.org.uk/comp/list-mua Hope that helps, -- MJ Ray (slef), member of www.software.coop, a for-more-than-profit co-op. http://koha-community.org supporter, web and LMS developer, statistician. I guess it depends on what you mean by "support". :-) It picks up the List-Id header, displaying that this message is from the koha.lists.katipo.co.nz mailing list and giving a link to "filter messages from this mailing list". It picks up the List-Unsubscribe header and gives an "Unsubscribe from this mailing list" link. It doesn't offer "Reply to List" or "Reply to Sender" options though - only "Reply" and "Reply to all". Cheers David
