It’s defined as subfield 8 – it comes from an authorized value list. Item type does seem to handle case differences OK, but collection code was definitely a problem. I was doing some sample data imports, and had to script a case conversion for subfield 8. If you haven’t found it already, the online manual page is very useful: https://sites.google.com/a/liblime.com/koha-manual/Home/Table-of-Contents/Ca... Making a rather large leap of reasoning here, maybe anything that’s an authorized value has to match the case? Does anyone know for sure? Jane Wagner Library Systems Analyst PTFS Inc. This could be a possibility. I noticed that when you add a item type even if you put it as all lower case it switches it to upper. Thanks Ed Edward J. Collection code for instance – I had a code in lower case in the item import, and it didn’t work until I made it upper case to match how it was defined on the server. I haven’t done extensive testing yet on the other fields, but it’s worth investigating. Jane Wagner Library Systems Analyst PTFS Inc. I double checked Follett and the info is there and there is a bibliography record in Koha just no entry in the items table. Any ideas? Here is a sample of a record that is having this issue: =LDR 01365pam 2200325 a 4500 =001 854153E690C34B779B07B5A7D53BDD9C =005 20081125124707.0 =008 071231t20082007nyu\\\\c\\\\\\000\1\eng\\ =010 \\$a 2007046493 =020 \\$a9780545051637 =035 \\$a(ICrlF)fol11914404 =035 \\$a(ICrlF)12174W =040 \\$aDLC$cDLC$dDLC$dICrlF =042 \\$alcac =043 \\$ar------ =050 00$aPZ7.D6475$bFe 2008 =082 00$a[Fic]$222 =100 1\$aD'Lacey, Chris. =245 14$aThe fire eternal /$cChris d'Lacey. =250 \\$a1st Scholastic ed. =260 \\$aNew York :$bOrchard Books,$c2008, c2007. =300 \\$a506 p. ;$c22 cm. =500 \\$aFour book series includes: The Fire Within, Icefire.
