I've just reinstalled ours on FC8 - we might well be the first Koha site running FC8; previously we were running on FC3. There is no "best" Linux distro for Koha. You should ask yourself "Which distro am I happiest supporting?". We are a Fedora/Redhat 9 site (my choice) hence we used Fedora for our Koha machine.
What are the dependencies and from where could find them? only from the Internet or from the Installation CD of the Operating System? I saw From koha site and the information given is not that much on dependencies. From where can I find detail list of dependencies and detail installation steps?
The dependancy list on the koha site is a start but it is incomplete. Running the installer identified other dependances.
