Juan, there are two export formats: marc (iso2709) and marxml. About the extension, ".mrc" is also used by MarcEdit, but after you download the file, you can change it if you like.

in tools there is an option to export bibliographic records.

From there you can export part or all, the "marc" option gives you an iso2709 file. I have a command line tool to do that, in case you need it.
