The Portsmouth Public Library is looking for co-sponsors for a development that should fix bug 17661<https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=17661>. If you're bugged by the fact that "Patterson, James," and "Patterson, James." show up separately in the author facet, this should fix it! Even though clicking on both instances run the same search, the display is misleading. The development would strip trailing spaces and punctuation, compare the normalized facets, and display each one only once.
