[Koha] Default Koha to delete records if no items remain?

Dear Colleagues, I know that there is a check box in Koha's Batch item deletion tool for this, but is there a way to have Koha default to automatically delete a title record when its last item record is deleted from the system? I have searched within the Koha system preferences for this default to no avail. We are running Koha 16.11.05.
