If you have the auto signing in off then you will have to log in the first time you load up the self check window on the machine - and may have to log in again throughout the day sometimes depending on the machine. Nicole On Sun, Aug 7, 2011 at 2:42 PM, WTC <librarian@wtctheology.org.uk> wrote:
Hi Nicole
Thank you for the suggestion.

Why not set up a log in for each branch for self check out and use that one to log in to the self checkout machines at the different locations?
I had set the staff account in the Circulation preferences AutoSelfCheckAllowed/AutoSelfCheckID/AutoSelfCheckPass. Should I change this setting to Don't allow? How do I get the Self Checkout to be signed in? Is it just a case of signing in to the OPAC on that PC with the location's staff account?
