Thursday, August 29, 2003 01:55 CDT As long as you're talking about staff allocation among resources, you might want to consider advocating that the 3 client libraries do cooperate. If they have mutual interlending established, they would only be serving their patrons better. And perhaps they could reduce their cataloguing costs (notice I say costs and not staff) through shared cataloguing and use of Holdings fields to identify clearly which "branch" holds what.
