Hello Mr. Santos, I also had this problem, though it came about rather suddenly. I looked at the code, and though I am not quite sure how to fix it yet, I resolved the error by changing the "z3950NormalizeAuthor z3950AuthorAuthFields" setting under the Cataloguing Tab, and Record Structure section to "don't copy". I am now able to import records from a Z39.50 search. Note that if the above does not work you might check to see if you have a branch selected if you are running a multiple branch system.
