I rudely did not thank people for answering a question some time ago: so belated "thanks" ... At the moment I run Koha under Suse 9 on a machine at home, connecting to it from work via a VPN (with no users other than me). I now want to transfer it to a machine running Suse 9 or 9.1 at work which I can give othrs access to. Assuming that I have made no alterations to the Web pages, ie that all the files originally installed are in their original form, it would seem that it would be sensible to use the installer to set up the new system rather than simply copying the files (in case there is some parameter which differs in a minor way). But what is the best way to transfer the data? I do not have huge amounts, but it would be annoying to start again. Is Mysqldump the way to go?
