Hi Charles I don't know if you can do the replacement/truncate the 952 from koha but you can doit directly in mysq with a query like: https://basitaalishan.com/2014/02/23/removing-part-of-string-before-and-afte... https://stackoverflow.com/questions/7481361/how-to-remove-part-of-string-in-... Of course you need to work the sample query to suit your needs. Hope this helps, Regards, Alvaro |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Envíe y Reciba Datos y mensajes de Texto (SMS) hacia y desde cualquier celular y Nextel en el Perú, México y en mas de 180 paises. You might concatenate the acquisition number and the Access Db id on 952$i
with a character separator like a pipe, asterisk, semicolon, etc. ie 2019-01325|54342.
Yes, that's an excellent suggestion.
My supervisor and I are arranging a meeting with the other principals to look at a number of issues and settle them before the catalog goes live.
Once you get rid of the old Access DB system you can run a query to the
Koha DB biblio table and, using the separator, remove all reference to the old AccessDB.
How does one do that in Koha, through the Tool -> Batch Item Modification? I know how to run a query, but it's the changing of a group of records by removing a portion of one field or subfield that I don't understand.
This is all new to me, and I'd be grateful for whatever help your can offer.
