Hi Simon and Alvaro, I've also tried to add the new index and have failed. :( One thing to consider: Depending on how you installed Koha, the actually used configuration files live as copies in a different place. This is true for kohadevbox and git installations, not sure about packages. So you might want to check if you have another copy of the files. I've also found a bug: *Bug 23000* <https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=23000> - Running xsltproc for authority index definitions adds unwanted changes Maybe try manually removing the false changes to see if this makes a difference.
