So, you are telling me that:
DOMAIN=".mydomain"
INTRAPORT="80"
INTRAPREFIX=""
INTRASUFFIX="-intra"
OPACPORT="80"
OPACPREFIX=""
OPACSUFFIX=""

and your instance name is library (i.e. sudo koha-create --create-db 
library)

And that you can't:
sudo apt-get install lynx
...
lynx http://library-intra.mydomain/
on that server?
