[Koha] New items location Proc

Kia ora koutou All my items being 'new' (because I have imported them into Koha recently) are marked as Proc in the shelf location field. Is there any way I can change them to 'cart' besides scanning them all in one at a time in order for them to go back to their normal locations. As I issue each item it appears to be deleting the location field. I have found how to restore the fields doing a sql search, but I don't really want to be doing this for the whole collection.
