We dont have any marc reference for the holding branch defined on the bibliographic model as far as i have checked so in terms of the database this makes sense for the null value Showing up, wehave a record for the home branch but we wont have a record for the holding branch. If you have only one branch, you can use a default value, if you have multiple, make them visible again and they will be automtically pre-set with the homebranch of the cataloger. I am able to solve the problem (thanks to Kaitrin) but i am not able to prevent it, how can i prevent "holding branch" getting null values at item table, i think this is happing to every new items created in the koha database. I am not a librarian myself, does this have to do how our librarian coleagues are creating the items, am i missing any configuration set up parameter?
