Hi there, We followed the following instrunctions (including synaptics and dselect dual installation) http://kohaworkshop.pbworks.com/f/debiankohainstall020809.pdf But it seems that although we installed mysql through synaptics, it seems that the dselect installation part reinstalls DBD::mysql and DBDI (after mysql is started). So when the system is rebooted the new faulty combination of mysql and DBD is active and the problem appears.... We worked around the problem by rebooting the system without going through the web install of koha part. Then we remove mysql (and all related components) and install them again. And the problem is solved .... (http://koha.lib.ntua.gr) Thats all ! Thanks for answering Zeno Tajoli wrote:

We are facing the DBD driver autocommit problem with debian-lenny and koha 3.0.4. The system works fine at the initial installation and after the first

the problem appears. Is this logical ? Has anyone solved this problem (we followed the guidelines for seperate installation of certaion components but nothing....)
it is quite strange that you have this problem with debian lenny Can you describe how do you have installed the modules DBI and DBD::mysql ?
