Hi Evan, I don’t think you could go wrong by simply upgrading to the next tier of Lightsail and seeing what improvement you get. If what I see at https://aws.amazon.com/lightsail/pricing/ applies to you, then it doubles the cost. However, that’s still a great bargain for a server! Recently, I've been getting many 503-Service Unavailable failures running 22.11.03.
My librarian reports that Koha crashes when he is adding/editing a record or trying a Z39. 50/SRU search. In the past week, the server has stalled at least once a day while the librarian is managing records.
If I restart the server, everything starts working again. It seems like this is a capacity problem and the server is freezing, but I don't know what's causing it.
I'm using an Amazon Lightsail instance, running Debian with 2 GB RAM, 1 vCPU. I know this is a very slim resource, but the instance has been working without crashing for over a year. The library has grown by thousands of records over the year, so I'm wondering if I need to bump up the RAM.
Looking for advice on minimum RAM that is suggested for a Koha 22.11 instance.
Any suggestions?
