Beth -- It cannot be done via the Koha GUI. For mysql manipulation via GUI there are numerous workstation applications or DB tools like phpMyAdmin. I assume you ask about adding it to items because you also intend to increment it during transactions. I am mapping item records from our current system to Koha. Not all of the fields in our item record are represented on the item linking table. For example, I don't see a Koha field for total checkouts in the items table. Is it possible to add this field? Can this be done through the GUI?
