[Koha] installing MARC::Record

The Debian install guide says "We have to install the MARC::Record module manually from SourceForge now as the CPAN version of MARC::Record isn't up-to-date." Is this still true? or can I safely perl -MCPAN -e 'install MARC::Record' the cpan version appears to be 2.0 (?)
