the patron search in 22.05 was changed over to use the API for searching. I think the API is not working correctly for you.

In fact, after looking for "API" among the Koha Administrative Interface paraments, I noticed that RESTBasicAuth and others were "disabled" for me. After enabling them, the patron search function works as always! Now, I suspect that a problem I reported in Nov 2021 and that you, Katrin, kindly filed as a bug in: https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=29581 has to do with the same new feature. Namely, I cannot presently find any unreceived shipment, even though there are plenty items expected. (Enabling RESTBasicAuth wasn't enough for that.) So many thanks! Giuseppe.
