Sure, but isn't it usefull at least to have a base record from which to start? Let's say I run through a list of ISBNs and have a few thousand records waiting to be evaluated. I can take my time moving through the records, cleaning them up and elaborating them. But I would rather not have to look up and enter manually such information as physical properties, LC number, LC call number, etc., for every book. And in the meantime, I can go ahead and have a functional library. We are starting from scratch here, and we have no librarian at our school. So we don't have all the resources to go record by record and be able to check books to our students any time this year. Thanks for all your help.
