[Koha] Importing Patrons: Cannot parse UTF8 characters in csv-file

Dear all, Is there a way to import UTF8-encoded csv-files containing characters beyond the ascii-rage, i.e. umlauts, diacritcs, or asian characters? At the first problematic character in a file, I get the following error analysis: Line 3 could not be parsed! 5,20080006,Möller,firstname,title,...... In this example the "ö" causes the error.
