[Koha] protocol used to manage bookcheck unit? (hardware product)

hello all, we are looking at a new bookcheck unit from 3M (model 942), coupled with koha. Unfortunately, this model comes with Windows software, while we want use it from linux/unix. Reading the rare docs, i notice that 3M talks about codes sent by ILS, like: DDD RRR SSS Anybody knows what it means? Is it a known protocol? The 3M software seems to use serial line to interact with the bookcheck unit, so i guess it is a simple protocol. Thanks in advance for help, gerard -- http://catalogue.cmi.univ-mrs.fr
