Hello, I'm actually running koha 2.2.9 and i dont know whether the files are different. however you may try opening the advance search page. on that page i only have two places where you put in the publication date. open the template page used to generate this page and look for the part that creates the text boxes that is used for publication year entry. my version just have two instances of this. and the publication year searches now work. i am using a public computer now or i would have attached my opac-search.tmpl. --- Octavee Uhl <octavee@gmail.com> wrote:

I changed in both opac-search.tmpl under /koha-2.2.8/opac-html/opac-tmpl/css/en and under /koha-2.2.8/opac-html/opac-tmpl/npl/en. But it still gives the same error message. Maybe I am editing the wrong files.
I replaced the biblioitems.publicationyear to biblio.copyrightdate (actually in 3 instances)

This install is on debian etch with mysql 5 and koha 2.2.9 with all of the perl code from cvs as of about September 10,
default 2007.
(There are a couple of other minor things wrong
too like the messed up
ISBD display.)
