Also... If we'd end up doing a re-install or 2.2 to export the records, what would happen to the item records? Will they still be there after the export/import procedure. It's absolutely imperative that we get them transferred to the new system also.

Unfortunately that's not an option anymore as the old Koha 2.2 system
been replaced by 3.0 version. There is no way of exporting the records anymore without completely re-installing the old 2.2 Koha (which doesn't seem to make much sense).

I suggest you not use its migration scripts which are not good enough. Export the biblio records and do a fresh installation of koha 3.0,
has then
do a bulk import of your old data. I know it seems easier to upgrade from 2.2 to 3.0, but we found it even much easier to do it in the other way as we have been through too many problems with its scripts and given up.

There are a lot of changes in the framework, but none of them concern the 952 field. -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Upgrading-from-2.2-to-3.0%2C-not-so-smooth...-tp209345... Sent from the Koha - Discuss mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
